So I was surfing the internet, when I found someone had a make up problem...
She said: I am having a bit of a problem. I really love make up, but I am bored with my look, and I would like to change it up a bit, but I really don't know how :( I am a really colorful girl, and I would really like a colorful look, but not TO colorful, but I'm too scared to try, any tips?
And the responses were:
Why not look at a blog?
There are some amazing beauty bloggers
Try and look on youtube
So I thought I could help girls with the same problem as her, and give you some Eye Shadow combo's :)
I have picked up 3 Neutral eye shadow looks, and 3 colorful eye shadow looks(but not TOO colorful).
I have also decided to make these looks with my Beautify 120 color eye shadow pallet because I got a lot of compliments when I wear colors from that pallet, and on my last blog post (maybe my 2nd last) I got a request to do a review! So I thought: Why not do both?
I'll start with the review:
Beautify 120 color eye shadow pallet
I got this off amazon for an AMAZING deal. it was I think under $120 and I got it for about $3.50!!!!
I'm not too sure if that deal is still on, but I am sure you can find little pallet's with the same colors!
I really like this pallet. I'm really close to LOVING it, but the eye shadows them selves are really small, I mean I can get a lot of use out of them, but if I only liked one color, what would happen?
But yes, I really like this pallet, it is perfect for colorful look, but also a natural look, and also a smokey look!
It's a bit too big to carry around with you, and it's too big to take with me on holiday, along with my other make up, but it's great to keep with you at home!
I WOULD repurchase it, if it was cheap haha, if it was back to $120, then I wouldn't :)
Over all I would rate it 4.2/5
Okay, now onto the eye shadows!
We will start with the naturals :)
(Top to bottom) Wet sand, Highlight of your day
Left to Right- Highlight of your day, Wet sand.
Wet sand is an AMAZING lid color for an everyday look, and then Highlight of your day is an amazing highlighter hence the name xD (Tested look by me)
I would use this for an everyday look if I was a beginner!
Next Natural eye shadows are--
(up to down) Tan Line, Dry Sand
Left to right- Dry sand, Tan line.
This is near a smokey look, but not TOO smokey.
This is another perfect everyday look, and also a PERFECT out door look, and don't forget to pack up the primer, so that it will last all day. These swaches are without primer, so they look a bit sheer, but I promise they are much more vibrant in real life :)
I can see me wearing this to the beach (but not in the water of course). It is an amazing color combo!
Next iiiiiis--
Tan Lines
This is more of a darker look.
More smokey.
I wouldn't were this everyday, but maybe if you were going out!
Shakin' it is a really pigmented dark brown! (No primer used) and it's good for the crease, and Tan lines is a pretty, sheer, and a little shimmery lid colour, and if you want, you can just put on Tan Lines on in the morning, and then take Shakin' it with you, and then put it on later on in the night!
Now let's go onto the colorful eye show combo's!
First oneee iiiiiis---
(Top to Bottom) I bruise like a Peach, Prune lagoon
This is my FAVORITE colored combo to wear (especially for the summer!) I bruise like a peach is a perfect pretty, light pink, and perfect for the lid. Prune Lagoon is and amazing crease color, or if your really daring, you can put that on the lid, but I prefer it on my crease!
Next iiiiis--
(Top to bottom) Green Tea, Let's go climb a tree
These two are really confident type. You have to be a REALLY confident make up wearer. But personally I really like this combo, but I wouldn't wear it on a daily basis. It's too... green for me.
Personally, I think darker colors look better on the crease, so I would put Let's go climb a tree, on the crease, and Green Tea on the lid, and it would make a GREAT color combo!
Last but not least iiiiis---
(Top to bottom) Pom Pous, In the valley
Now these colors I really love! Purple is my sort of color! In my opinion, I think purple can make a really smokey look, if you go darker!
To make these colors more amazing, (this bit may sound a bit weird but it is an amazing technique) put a bit of tape diagonally at the edge of your eye and put some eye shadow on your eye going towards the tape, and then remove the tape to find a sharper look, and it's SO amazing, works really well with smokey looks.
One person who I think suits smokey eyes very well is Zoella, and you can find her blog HERE.
Thank you SOO much for taking the time to read this, please let me know if this was at all helpful to you at all, and if you would like to see these looks on my own eyes, please let me know! Thank you so much! See you soooooon <3
